Each account gets its own encryption key. File names and patient labels are sealed separately. A 2 GB CBCT is read back in byte ranges, so the viewer opens a slice without pulling the whole scan.

Yes. Every account has its own key held in a hardware key service; every file has its own key under it. Names, labels and patient references are sealed separately. We can open a file to show it to you or to send it; nobody else can.
No. Send moves files; Store keeps them. Everything you send through Send can be kept in Store, and anything in Store can be shared through Send with a PIN. One sign-in covers both.
STL, PLY and OBJ meshes open in 3D. DICOM and zipped CBCT exports open as a slice stack. Photos, x-rays and PDFs open in the viewer. Lab design files such as 3OXZ or Medit projects are stored, versioned and sent without pretending to read them.
Yes. A lab that receives a case can save the scans to its own free Store from the lab portal or from the package page, and sign in with its email. Specialists get the same choice on every referral package.
Uploads pause until you add a pack or empty the trash. Viewing, downloading, sharing and deleting keep working, and files that would normally be kept automatically wait in Send for their usual window.
On Practice Autopilot and above, images from Open Dental and files from the imaging bridge's watch folders pull in on their own and file to the patient's chart. Choose the folders from your dashboard.

Yes. Store is covered by the same Business Associate Agreement as Send and the rest of Intake. Every open, download and share is logged per account.
